Day 30

A big day being tourists today, we got ourselves a 2 day “Big Red Bus” pass which picks us up right outside our hotel and takes us all over Vancouver to all the places we wanted to go, we can get on and off when ever we want, and use it all day. We stayed on the bus for a while looking at all the sights and then when we got to Granville Island. Here we got off the bus and had a good look around, the island also has the Granville Micro Brewery where we had a tour which included some beer at the ned, always a nice touch. This was in fact very interesting and the beer was quite nice as well. After this we walked around the marketplace and then decide lunch was in order, so we ate at The “Bridges” restaurant which was lovely.
All day the weather has been really nice not too hot but sunny.
After we had eaten we decided to go to the Space museum and planetarium, believe it or not Lorna is really interested in this sort of stuff (Bang goes her street cred) At the museum we only had time to watch a demonstration about weightlessness and the planetarium show because we only realised after the show that the “Big Red Bus” last time back was about 25 minutes away and we had a good 20 minute walk back to the stop. Never mind it had been a long day and we had walked enough. Tonight we are keeping close to the hotel after last nights disaster and eating across the road. *Update* Well not as close as we expected, the restaurant close by was really expensive so we ended up walking about 12 blocks up Robson to Earls.
A good day helped by the weather, tomorrow we are going to Stanley Park and the aquarium that is there.
